The Origin of Lucoral and the Lucoral
Spirit
The core of Lucoral's spirit is to conquer hardship, to use it as a turning point, to strive for a better understanding of the universe and self, and thereby, to emerge as the victor. Such was the philosophy of the late Mr. Lu Ching-Shui, the founder of Lucoral, who left us such witty aphorisms as "An obsessively calculative man is a poor", and "To triumph over a difficult issue is to have found the solution for hundred problems."
Lucoral was founded in 1963 in
Pescadores, Taiwan, from a core group comprised of Mr. & Mrs. Lu Ching-Shui,
their eleven children, their grandchildren, and a group of ardent apprentices
who identified with Lucoral's principles. The company has grow into a highly
renown and well-respected leader in the coral industry. Today, the Lucoral
family includes a board network of industry members both in Taiwan and abroad.

In 1963, Lucoral & Lupearl Corporation was established in Taiwan and has experiences tremendous growth in the overseas market. With a worldwide network of customers, Lucoral & Lupearl has offices in Taipei, Taiwan; New York, New York; Hong Kong, China; Honolulu, Hawaii; Hamden, Connecticut; San Francisco, California; Sanya,China; Hai-Nan, China; and Shanghai, China. In addition, Lucoral & Lupearl also has four freshwater pearl farms, two saltwater pearl farms and manufacturing operations in both China and Taiwan.
